The Name Game~~

Was reading a magazine this afternoon and it was about the name game.It might sound so weird but after you've finish reading my post, you might find it interesting.

Actually our name has a lot of meaning. It is sometimes imperceptible. The Professor James Bruning from Ohio University says that the impart of names comes from how people expect to see you. This might be unfair while prejudging someone based on their names.

There is some proven evidential that those with an Oriental name are thought to be good at maths,so while the employer wants to hire a computer programmer,he or she might select the applicant if they see a Chinese name.

This is more even funny.According to psychologist Dr Brett Pelham,an analyst for statistics from Gallup, people have a tendency to follow professions that resemble their first name.It means that lawyers called Laura and dentists named Dennis and this is very common. In addition, women named Georgia are disproportionally more likely to move to the state of Georgia and men called Louis are over-represented in Louisiana.

Names also hold the secret to success. The American economists looked at the link between surnames and academic prominence, finding that those with initials early in the alphabet were markedly more likely to work in prestigious university departments and win a Noble Prize.I will gave you a link here, just that you need to do some research.http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/lists/all/

Example like the online name, creating an email address or username is the closest many of us will get to changing our names.Choose wisely because your online alias is more than just an electronic lablel,it also gives away a lot of information about you.German psychologists have noted that it's possible to infer a person's personality from their email address alone,as described in a 2008 research paper entitled 'How extraverted is honey.bunny77 as your mail?'So if you have multiple online monikers,be careful to use the right one-if you send a message as 'honey bunny' via an internet dating site then the recipient would think they're onto a good thing, but your boss might consider it somewhat unprofessional. This has makes me Laugh Out Loud.So be careful when filling up the application form.

At last,if you really be attracted by this, just do some research.Perhaps it will be useful for you to choose a suitable name for your child.
